Terms for your shop reports
Tallywake makes plain-English reports from order data that solo jewelry and accessories shop owners upload. These terms explain what the service currently does and what the uploaded data may not show.
How the service works
You choose an orders CSV file, match its columns, review the rows, and confirm the import from your signed-in account. Each report uses the rows in that upload. Tallywake does not connect to a shop automatically; you upload a file yourself for each report.
Tallywake accepts UTF-8 CSV files up to 10 MiB. After a report is created, you can open it from Reports in your account. Reports are not sent by email.
What a report can show
A report summarizes information available in the uploaded rows, such as:
- Distinct order count.
- Revenue and average order value when the supplied amounts can be totaled.
- Top and bottom products when product names and line-item amounts are present.
- Repeat-customer rate when orders include a usable customer email or ID.
- Week-over-week or month-over-month changes when dates and comparable order rows are present.
Reports also include an explanation of what the rows show and practical actions based on them. These are observations from the uploaded data; the CSV does not establish why a change happened.
Limits of the uploaded data
Tallywake uses the date span and records in your file and cannot confirm that the export includes every order for that period. Missing, unreadable, or conflicting dates, order amounts, currencies, product details, or customer identifiers can make a metric unavailable. Revenue may be shown in the file’s numeric units when no currency is identified.
A week-over-week comparison needs two comparable 7-day windows. A month-over-month comparison needs two comparable 30-day windows. The dates must be readable for the orders, and each window must contain order rows. When the file does not provide enough usable data, the report explains which figures are unavailable.
Review your file, column matches, and report before using the results to make business decisions. Only upload data you are allowed to use for this purpose.
